California indie pop artist XYLO is in the midst of their first headlining tour across the states, which plans to hit Boston on July 24th. XYLO is the alias of singer songwriter Paige Duddy, who has been deemed as the queen of dark pop according to Nylon. From 2015 to 2018 XYLO was a duo that included Paige’s brother Chase, but now is the solo project of Paige. XYLO first rose to stardom thanks to their hit single ”Afterlife” off of their popular America EP released in 2015. A song titled “Gossip” was even used in Apple’s campaign to reveal the new AirPods, which gained them even more spotlight. Upon the success of the songs and EP, XYLO would embark on a few sold out shows before being featured in a platinum selling song with The Chainsmokers called “Setting Fires”. Since then XYLO has had over 250+ million streams on Spotify, and have been praised by numerous outlets like People Magazine. More recently XYLO have released two new EPs, Pretty Sad, and Yes & No. XYLO will be performing new songs from the recently released Yes & No EP on this tour so you definitely don’t want to miss out on the amazing performances that will happen!
