The last time I saw Movements, they were supporting a band who had played at this venue. Just six months later, the boys were back at the same venue, this time headlining it.
The four piece from Southern California continuted to ride out the sucsess of their debut album “Feel Something” by touring the US again, this time with support from Boston Manor, Trash Boat and Drug Church. The stacked line up brought out a huge crowd, almost selling out the 1200 capacity room. Because of this, there seemed to always be someone dancing, someone crowd surfing, or someone singing along, which really made the overall experience enjoyable for everyone.
Movements played eleven songs that ranged from old to new, and even announced that after the tour, they’d be back in the studio, recording their much anticipated second album. If their momentum stays at this pace, I have no doubt in my mind that I’ll see them at an even bigger venue the next time around!
