La Dispute @ Irving Plaza

La Dispute is on tour promoting their fourth album Panorama. They stopped by Irving Plaza in NYC this week along with support from Gouge Away and Slow Mass. The five-piece band from Grand Rapids, Michigan has been known for their poetic and intense music for than a decade. The love for these luminaries of post-hardcore music was obvious at their packed show. La Dispute came to the stage met with an enamored crowd. They began the show with the ethereal title track of Panorama, “Rose Quartz”, followed by “Fulton Street” and “Fulton Steet II”. The setlist went on to include tracks from albums spanning their catalog from Wildlife to Panorama. Everyone passionately sang along with lead vocalist Jordan Dreyer as he often leans into the crowd and interacts with enthusiastic fans.
