ONEOKROCK and Waterparks at TLA on 3/2/19

Waterparks provided main support for Japanese band ONEOKROCK on their North American Tour. Waterparks has previously played the TLA opening for Good Charlotte in 2016 and headlining in 2017. This show was sold out and despite the fact that Waterparks was an opener, there were still a lot of fans there for them. They opened with “Mad All The Time” from their debut EP “Cluster”. Throughout their entire set there were mosh pits and a ton of crowd surfing, as per request of Awsten Knight. The three piece brought great energy to the stage along with their fans. Awsten previously stated how much he loved playing Philly and always talks about how great shows in the North East are. They certainly did not disappoint.

ONEOKROCK have just released their new album “Eye of the Storm” and primarily played songs from that because the tour was in support of that. As soon as they came out on stage, the venue erupted with screams. There were many international fans at this show because they were screaming things in Japanese at the band. The four piece had an incredible amount of energy as well as incredible production for their performance.
