The Kooks @ Terminal 5

UK band The Kooks are on tour promoting their fifth full length album Let’s Go Sunshine. Barns Courtney and Future Feats joined them for their sold out show Terminal 5 in New York City, their second to last North American spring tour date. Barns Courtney and Future Feats brought energetic and exciting sets to open the show that commanded the attention of concerts goers. Both bands for sure earned new fans. The crowd is filled with young and older fans alike as The Kooks have been producing catchy, can’t help but dance indie rock for more than a decade now and they’re still going strong.

The Kooks took the stage to the sold out venue of thousands of screaming fans opening with a classic hit “Always Where I Need To Be” from their sophomore album Konk. They went on the to play many hits spanning their career  like “Sofa Song”, “She Moves in Her Own Way”, ”Do You Wanna”, “Sweet Emotions”, “Westside”, “Junk”, and “See Me Now” all the way to songs from their new album Let’s Go Sunshine like “All The Time”, “Fractured And Dead”, and the newest single “Pamela”.  The Kooks have an electrifying stage presence, especially Lead singer and Guitarist Luke Pritchard who is captivating and interactive with an ecstatic crowd. They ended the show with a two song encore of “No Pressure” and then “Naive” that the crowd went absolutely nuts for as they heard the distinctive opening chords.  Don’t miss them on tour at the dates below!
