Set It Off & One OK Rock @ Playstation Theater, NYC

It was a night filled with charisma and passion as two of the most standout bands in the scene rocked the house of NYC’s very own Playstation Theater. Equal Vision heavy weights Set It Off blazed the stage with a well balanced setlist. Set It Off played classic tracks “Never Know,” “Ancient History,” and “Forever Stuck in Our Youth” to name a few and new songs off of their most recent release Upside Down. Infectiously catchy pop anthems “Life Afraid,” “Something New,” and title track “Upside Down” had fans enamored.  Set It Off closed their set with energetic crowd favorite “Why Worry” as vocalist Cody Carson let fans sweep him off his feet as he surfed his way through the crowd.

When international alternative rock outfit One OK Rock graced the stage as headliners the crowds fervor was at an all time high. Hailing from Japan, the Fueled By Ramen quartet quickly became a world renowned staple in the scene. One Ok Rock kicked off their set with dynamic track “Bombs Away.” The highlight of the night was the bands emotional dedication to late Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington. One OK Rock covered Linkin Park’s beautiful ballad “One More Light” leaving fans awestruck and in tears.  The band ended their night with exuberant anthem “American Girls.” Get a glimpse of the night in our gallery below.
